Every iconic, curly “womb-like” pose you see in our newborn photography portfolio requires meticulous planning and a very specific window of time.
- When to Book: We highly recommend reserving your slot around baby’s delivery date because after baby is borne parents become busy with the baby and it becomes difficult to find a photographer at that time. Because babies arrive on their own schedule, we put a tentative date on our calendar based on your due date.
- The Ideal Age: The golden window for newborn photography is between 10 to 30 days after birth. During these two weeks, babies sleep deeply and retain their natural fetal flexibility.

- Sanitization: All wraps, blankets, and props are thoroughly washed with baby-safe detergents and sanitized before your session.
- Composite Posing: Complex or vertical poses (like the froggy pose) are always done as “composites”—meaning a parent or assistant’s hand is supporting the baby at all times, and the hand is later edited out in Photoshop.
- Gentle Studio Lighting: We use professional, diffused studio lighting that mimics soft window light, ensuring it is perfectly safe for sensitive newborn eyes.
